First-time buyers aren’t expected to know everything—that’s literally part of the process 🏠
One of the biggest parts of my job is helping buyers understand what’s normal, what’s negotiable, and what deserves concern.
Things agents explain constantly:
Why pre-approval matters
How earnest money works
What inspections actually do 🔍
Why online estimates are often inaccurate
Why closing costs matter beyond the down payment
Many first-time buyers also underestimate how emotional the process can feel. Excitement, stress, impatience, and second-guessing are incredibly common.
The goal isn’t perfection. The goal is helping buyers feel informed enough to move forward confidently.
Because once buyers understand the process, it becomes much less intimidating—and a lot more exciting.
